AGNI-Shield is a 13mm thick, fire-resistant insulating blanket of flexible fibrous matting bonded to a foil layer. It is commonly used to wrap penetrating services that pass through fire-rated walls and floors, such as metal pipes, insulated services, power and data cables, cable trays, and AGNI-Box systems. This wrapping provides extra insulation to help prevent excessive heat transfer between fire compartments.
AGNI-Shield has been tested and certified both as a standalone system and in combination with AGNI-Board and AGNI-Seal. The system has undergone testing in various substrates, including 1-hour and 2-hour fire-rated plasterboard walls, cross-laminated timber (CLT), and concrete.
When tested with AGNI-Shield protection, the fire resistance level (FRL) of AGNI-Systems ranges from—/ 60/30 to—/ 120/120.
