AGNI-Coat®

AGNI-Coat is a water-based, environmentally friendly coating applied to the surface and to the edges of AGNI-Board pattress on-site. In the event of a fire, the coating releases water vapour, cooling the AGNI-Board surface. This enhances the fire resistance of fire-rated AGNI-Board systems, providing efficient passive thermal and fire protection.

AGNI-Coat is frequently used to repair minor damage to AGNI-Board factory coating and to seal uncoated edges.

AGNI-Coat was tested and certified as part of an AGNI-Board penetration seal system in plasterboard walls and concrete ceiling/flooring. The testing and certification were conducted in a third-party IANZ accredited & NATA-recognized laboratory for fire resistance testing.
