AGNI-Black is a high-pressure-exerting intumescent sealant designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and gases through openings in fire-rated walls and floors. When exposed to high temperatures, AGNI-Black expands and closes openings around service penetrations, forming a dense char plug. This intumescent plug stays intact, maintaining the integrity of the fire-rated barrier.
AGN-Black fire-stopping systems are tested to AS1530.4-2014 and comply with AS4072.1. AGNI-Black is certified to be installed in plasterboard, concrete, masonry, and block walls with FRL/FRR up to—/ 120/120. AGNI-Black can be used in combination with AGNI-Wrap 50.
AGNI-Black's advanced intumescent formula allows the sealant to react quickly to fire exposure and expand up to 40 times its initial size. It is easy to apply and doesn’t require any priming before installation.
